Payroll/Bookkeeping Senior

Brook Street are proud to have been approached by our existing client who are looking for a Payroll/Bookkeeping Senior to join their growing Practice in Plymouth. The role will add great value to the firm's growing business services department and offers a great pathway for progression and potential upskilling opportunities.
We are looking for suitably experienced candidates with skillset covering Payroll and Bookkeeping who are looking to step into a role that offers great development!
Key duties include;
" Payroll Processing
" Uploading pension information
" Processing Auto Enrolment
" Calculating and submitting Furlough claims
" Processing client invoices using Xero
" Bank reconciliations
" Filing VAT Returns
" Processing journals to be entered onto the bookkeeping system
" Create and post opening balance adjustments
Candidate who have obtained the above experience or similar outside of an accountancy practice environment are very much encouraged to apply, although previous experience of working in a practice is preferable. What is essential is that you have a strong knowledge of Payroll systems and have working knowledge of Xero.
