Job Description

Pensions and Payroll Officer
Wellingborough, Darby House
Monday to Friday 37 hours
£12.34 hour
12 Months initially

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To assist in the preparation and improvement of pensions and payroll services at a local level. To actively work to ensure the review and integrity of payroll data and output for police officers, police staff, OPFCC and Fire Service in line with the strategic objectives, key performance indicators and service level agreements.


Experience:

1. Experience of running and administering a monthly payroll
2. Substantial experience of developing excellent customer relationships.
3. Good working knowledge of payroll, tax, pensions and employment law working in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act



You will be required to provide three years worth of references and pass a police vetting check before you start this role. The vetting process takes approx 4-6 weeks.
