Job Description

Our NHS client is looking for a People and Workforce Development Assistant to join there team.

This a temporary position (with a possibility of extension) but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.

37.5 hours per week between 8.00am - 5.00pm
Pay rate £12.86 per hour

Job role duties:

-To work as part of the Learning & Development Team and in close association with the SSLDO/SSDO to develop.

-Maintain and support delivery of virtual and face to face courses, workshops, and webinars.

-Responsible for providing the first point of contact for internal and external queries regarding the provision of learning and development.

-Dealing with questions and directing callers/queries raised to the relevant guidance / information documents /websites.

- To undertake any other duties that may be required to meet the needs of the Authority in the short or medium term, subject to the grade, experience, and capability of the Post Holder. This will be discussed with the Post Holder as the need arises.

Typical qualifications and experience:
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Good time management ability, with a proven record of working effectively to deadlines.

-Event management support

-Office 365 skills - including excel PowerPoint, forms and Teams

-Working knowledge of key online resources to support remote work e.g. Padlet, zoom, slido,

Please note this is a Office based role for your training period and after you would have an option of hybrid working.
