Job Description

The jobholder will be responsible to the Workflow Manager.

The jobholder will be part of a team which produces management and statistical information for senior and local managers as well as responding to Parliamentary Questions and providing data for FOI requests

The successful candidate`s key responsibilities will include:

o Working with a range of computer-based information.

o Extraction of data using Business Objects, Crystal Reports, CRS and SQL.

o Presentation of information using reporting software and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

o Ensuring that all customers (internal and external) receive, within agreed service level agreements, accurate information under agreed standard reports spanning all work-streams.

o Ensuring accurate ad-hoc reports are produced and meet deadline and customer requirements.

o Helping to ensure that data quality issues are managed for all databases within the MI remit.


Desirable criteria:

o Strong IT skills with experience of producing, manipulating and presenting data
o Strong numerical skills
o A good understanding of the quality assurance of data
o Excellent organisational skills
o Strong team player, taking a positive attitude to change and always looking for how things could be done better.
o Able to work methodically to tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy.
o You may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training.
