Job Description

Brook Street are Recruiting for a Performance and Risk Manger to work for a well established public sector organisation. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to fulfil this role.

As a Performance and Risk Manager you will enable the smooth running of a specific programme and you will be responsible for a diverse range of activities to support delivery of the programme and coordinate business activities.

If successful, duties will include:
-Developing the Programme Management Office timeline and runs the programme management cycle including planning Board meetings, Steering groups, planning workshops.
-Preparing meeting paper work including agendas, collating and formatting meeting papers, circulating finalised papers, take concise and accurate minutes at Programme Board meetings.
-Updating Programme Actions Log and work with PMs to ensure actions are progressed according to deadlines.
-Adhering to the PMO timeline and ensure the team adhere to the processes set out.
-Coordinating the change control process for the programme.
-Supporting the Programme Manager to enable effective planning and scheduling by managing the annual business planning cycle to support the business areas achieve strategic aims and objectives.
-Supporting programme managers by conducting performance and risk mitigation planning, management and control activities as necessary
-Analysing risks and issues, as required, for resolution with operational heads of team, programme/ project managers. Escalates as appropriate

Successful candidates will demonstrate:
-Experience and knowledge of programme and project management
-Qualifications in project management (Prince 2, Agile) are desirable but not essential

This is a full time temporary role, initially for three months with a few to be extended beyond this point. The role is Monday to Friday ideal office hours with elements of flexi-time available.
