Job Description

I am working closely with a reputable, national provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities to recruit their next, outstanding peripatetic manager.

You will become a key member of the management team for a recognised, respected organisation who invests heavily in their staff and are committed to providing the highest possible care to the people they support.

Your new peripatetic manager role, will require you to provide managerial support and guidance within residential, supported living, outreach and/or day services across the MIDLANDS, SHROPSHIRE and STAFFORDSHIRE.

You will work closely with existing service managers, to drive improvement and effective change, deliver quality care and support for the people who reside in your services and provide effective quality and people management.

Due to the nature of this role, you will spend a lot of time in the field and will need to be prepared for overnight stays from time to time.

With all peripatetic manager roles, you will be required to step in and actively manage services where there is a managerial vacancy. This will mean you will need to be flexible and adaptable, and be able to lead by example in the delivery of care and support.

This is the perfect opportunity for a registered or care manager, who thrives on service improvement and delivery, but also likes the challenge of working in a busy environment where no day is the same.

To be considered for this exciting role, you MUST:
* Have a successful background in care and support management for learning disabilities and mental health settings
* Hold a relevant care management qualification
* Be able to demonstrate change management and turnaround success
* Hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be flexible to travel across the Midlands and the North

In return, you will receive a salary up to £38000 D.O.E, access to internal and external training opportunities, clear progression pathways and other exciting benefits.

If you are interested and would like to be considered for an immediate interview, please apply online today or forward your CV via email
