Job Description

My public Sector Client based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to provide experienced and professional support for their Dean. The role is paying £10.83 and then £12.74 in the 13th working week. This role would be full time, from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm working from home. This is a temporary position initially for 3 months with the potential to extend in line with business needs.

This will be a challenging, varied and fast-paced role, so to be successful you must be able to thrive in a dynamic environment and be motivated. You should also be well organised, pro-active and professional with excellent attention to detail. You must also be aware of confidentiality and conduct your position with tact and sensitivity as you may well be dealing with confidential matters.

Excellent communication skills and initiative are a must together with an ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. You will be required to diary manage, minute taking, book meeting rooms and also prepare agendas/presentations and also handouts for meetings where necessary. You will also need to ensure that the day to day administrative requirements such as expenses, travel and accommodation bookings and all appointments are managed effectively for all directors and senior leaders. As the main liaison point for the department you need to be confident in answering queries and escalating to the correct individual if required. You will also be required to support the rest of the senior team to ensure effective delivery of work, including providing cross-cover support where needed.

You will also be supervising the Support Administrator. Organise the diary, correspondence and commitments of the Senior Leaders including the scheduling of formal meetings via telephone, Skype, MS Teams, virtual conferences. Must be capable of constructing and delivering clear information/instructions to staff. Advanced keyboard skills, use of a range of software packages, including Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.

Your role would ultimately be to provide full experienced Personal Assistant support, prioritising tasks where necessary and be able fully support the dean and senior leaders.
