Based in Cheshire, this is a great opportunity for a Qualified pharmacist with a previous background of working within a pharmacy, ideally with a high level of responsibility. You should also be registered with the GPhC.
Our client is a supplier of products to the medical profession so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to move away from community pharmacy position into a different sector
Responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager/Group Director of Pharmacy Services to implement plans and monitor performance accordingly.
Deputise in relation to GDP activities in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines of all applicable regulatory and official bodies.
Manage and enhance customer service activities and staff competence in these areas, so as to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Be responsible for stock management, layout and work flow so as to maximise sales, customer satisfaction and profit.
Manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting profitable performance.
Manage, maintain as necessary all stock, packaging and ancillary items.
In terms of your skills and experience, you should have a positive and solution orientated attitude. Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
Have ethical awareness and integrity and be accurate and organised
Good IT skills are required to include: Microsoft Office Suite, SAGE (preferred)
PMR system (Link, Cegidem)
Your qualifications should include: Qualifications required:
Professional Graduate Pharmacist.
Current registration with the GPhC.
2-3 years of working within a pharmacy ideally with sole charge at times.
