Do you have experience as a Planning & Strategic Accountant? Are you qualified CIMA/CCAB or an accountant with over 2 years post qualification experience?

Working at the client's head office in the Liverpool city centre, you can look forward to working with a leading transportation company. This position will see the right candidate reporting to the Head Of Finance and working very closely with the Financial Director.

You will be able to identify opportunities and make recommendations for the business to improve both efficiency and control of the business alongside reviewing and evaluating investment decisions and business cases.

Your day to day duties in this role include:

Supporting financial and other teams in the pricing and evaluating the risk register to sit alongside the financial model.

Attending and playing an active role in meetings and contact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Reviewing, inputting and drafting into written reports and communicating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Understanding and influencing the company's model and understanding contractual implications.

Reviewing and evaluating investment decisions and business cases.

Ensuring the cost control and financial objectives that have been achieved by the provision of accurate and timely fashioned financial information.

In order to APPLY for this, you must have the following skills and experience:

A qualified CCAB/CIMA or to be an equivalent accountant with at least 2 years post qualification experience.

A strong knowledge of current accounting processes and practises alongside an understanding of the operational environment alongside the proven ability to be a business partner.

Be advanced in Microsoft Excel skills.

Experienced in the reporting of complex financial data to non-financial managers.
