Brook Street are recruiting for three exciting opportunities working from home for a government authority.
These positions are all 6-month temporary contracts expected to start within the next couple of weeks, ideally candidates would have no notice period to serve.
The three positions are;
Briefing and Engagement: COVID-19 VCSE Support Package (Band B)
Candidates must have;
- Extensive experience in administrative roles
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong experience with case management and drafting correspondence/ briefings/pqs

Volunteering Programmes (Band B)
Candidates must have;
- Experience providing policy advice, drafting policy briefings, media lines and speeches, strategies etc.
- Strong senior stakeholder engagement background. Experienced at working and briefing senior stakeholders and ministers within
government.
- Providing advice, including policy briefings to ministerial level
Volunteering Policy (Band B)
Candidates must have;
- Previous experience working on policy, strategy and / or grant funding
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong, credible relationships across organisations and sectors
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to develop proposals for action, then manage support and stretch self and team to deliver agreed goals and objectives to time and on standard
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous experience working on policies related to volunteering and the charitable sector
As these roles are only funded for a short period of time, it essential that candidates have the correct experience to be able to hit the ground running and help deliver a high-profile project.
The hourly rate of pay for these positions is £15.98 per hour.
