Job Description

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has become available for a Positive Behaviour Support Manager to join a well respected, registered charity who are dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

Based largely out of the company head office, you will also have the opportunity to spend time on the services which are based within the West Midlands and Shropshire regions, as well as remote work from home.

You will work closely with the management and positive behaviour support team to support adults with complex needs and behaviours which may prove challenging.

Your overall aim is to increase the quality of life of the people you support, whilst enabling them to find positive ways of meeting their individual needs.

Overall, you will support the organisation to achieve PBS objectives, deliver training to increase staff awareness and skills and ensure that high standards and principles of PBS are maintained throughout the service.

I am looking for a strong Positive Behaviour Support Manager who meets the following criteria:

* Has a relevant qualification ( i.e BPS accredited Psychology degree, PBS BTEC, BILD accredited Coaches certificate, health and social care, teaching) at level 4 or above

* Is experienced working with people who have behaviours which may prove challenging
* Be a driver and have access to their own vehicle
* Display strong leadership and people skills
