We have partnered with an award winning B2B communications agency based in Guildford, seeking an Account Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This agency are a genuinely great company to work for, and they really value their employees; training and development will be available for the right person.
As well as your usual client management responsibilities, you will also have some involvement with the Client Services Director to develop client proposals and plans leading to the expansion of accounts. You will also develop financial budgets for each client on an annual basis.
Responsible for a small team, you will be accountable for meeting with them weekly to progress client activity, reviewing and delegating work, manage responsibilities and oversee delivery.
You will also be encouraged to help identify new business through keeping abreast of industry news and actively seeking out new companies, attending new business meetings and participating in new business pitches.
To be considered for this PR Account Manager opportunity, you should have:
- 3+ years PR expertise
- Educated to Degree level (ideally within a relevant subject such as English or PR/Communications, but not essential)
- Experience of client pitch delivery
- Strong MS Office skills
- A genuine interest in current affairs
- Some B2B PR experience
- In-depth knowledge of PR industry processes and practices
A starting salary of £28,000+ is on offer and hours of work are 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday. You will initially be home based until it is safe to return to the office where there is free on-site parking.
