Practice Accountant

Salary based on Experience, this is a full time permanent position

Based in Hull, East Yorkshire my client is a successful accountancy practice that is looking for an experienced accountant from a practice background.

Role:

Your main responsibility is the efficient management of my clients customer portfolio ensuring a high level of service is met every time, You'll also be expected to assist and support the office team with training and development to the junior staff.

Responsibilities:

Managing new and existing clients.

Responding to client enquiries and managing relationships.

Self-Assessment Tax Returns

The completion of year-end accounts

VAT, and administration duties

Co-ordination and management of payroll.

Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.

bespoke accountancy, taxation and tax planning advice.

Training, coaching and mentoring of Juniors.

Experience needed:

Experience within an accountancy practice

A history of managing a portfolio of clients

No less than a Part-qualified accountant(ACCA/ ATT) or equivalent

Knowledge of revenue guidelines

Excellent verbal and written communication
