Practice Administrator

Job Description

This role is to work within an established public sector organisation based near Hexham. It is an exciting opportunity to work within administration within the medical sector. The role is to start as soon as possible, initially until the end of November with a view to be extended. If successful, your responsibilities will include:

-General administration
-Photocopying, filing, scanning
-Liaising with hospitals
-Completing appointment letters
-Coordination of secondary care appointments
-Registering new patients information
-Ensure that adequate stocks of stationary are maintained, monitor requirement (Photocopier, fax etc) and report any operating problems
-Actioning information received from the group mailbox

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

-Administration experience
-Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
-Full UK driving licence would be desirable

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8:00am until 4:30pm with a payrate of £10.35 p/h. The role is to start as soon as possible until initially the end of November with opportunity for it to be extended further.
