Job Description

This is a great opportunity to work for a lovely Private GP Clinic in the West End.

They are looking for an Administration Practice Manager to join them on a permanent basis to work alongside the Medical Secretary and the Clinic Manager to provide a mixture Practice Management and all round Practice Administration support in their offices

They are looking for Degree educated (or similar) Practice Administrators with experience within the Healthcare Industry who are looking for the nest step in their career path or for candidates with previous experience as a Practice Manager

Reporting into the Practice Director you will have responsibility for :

  • Maintaining the practice's CQC registration, policy documents, risk assessments and insurance
  • Overseeing the accurate and timely processing of incoming results and correspondence
  • Invoicing patients and chasing unpaid invoices
  • Flu/COVID vaccine planning
  • IT troubleshooting (alongside the Clinic Manager)
  • Developing the practice's IT infrastructure (alongside our IT support)
  • Updating the practice's website
  • Acting as liaison with the premises management for issues of housekeeping
  • Delivering management information for the practice's corporate clients (with Business Director)

As well as this you will work alongside the other support staff with more general office support including:

  • Answering the phone
  • Booking appointments and practice diary management. Sending confirmation of appointment emails
  • Greeting patients, taking payments
  • Chasing results/correspondence from specialists/medical lab
  • Contacting patients with results when instructed by the doctor



So as you can see this is a wide ranging and varied role and will suit someone who is well organised, a team player and a very strong communicator

You will need MS Office and be a confident Excel user
