Site Flow Operations Manager- Mid & South Essex

Brook Street is looking for the next Operation Manager to join NHS Trust, we are looking for an experienced manager to lead the clinical site management team. You will be reporting to the Deputy Director of the operations function.
You will need to possess the skills and experience to identify and implement contingency plans to resolve capacity pressures and show sound clinical judgement regarding appropriate patient placement at times of extreme pressure on bed capacity.
Your new role:
" Responsibility for the collection and analysis of complex bed management data to support operational management, audit, and external reporting requirements.
" Maintenance and the development of clear records for analytical purposes and reporting requirement in line with organisational and government demands.
" Responsibility for Trust-wide development and delivery of effective clinical site management to meet agreed local and national performance targets and standards, within budget and resources available. Experience & Qualifications Required:
" Significant Senior Operational NHS experience
" Good understanding of drivers and constraints around effective bed management.
" Significant experience of data analysis and audit processes.
" Chair routine or extraordinary capacity meetings.
" Develop and maintain effective communications systems via an Operations Centre.
" Represent the Trust at internal and external meetings concerning management as required.
" Master's degree or equivalent experience Management
" Extensive CPD portfolio
" Experience in working with senior level representatives, financial management.
" Extensive General Manager or equivalent management experience within an acute hospital setting at Band 8b or above.
" Experience with business continuity planning and emergency planning and resilience standards.
" Has a full range of IT skill appropriate to the role including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
" Highly developed organisation skills, able to self-motivate and motivate other to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and performance.
" Ability to think and operate strategically.
" Excellent mediation and negotiation skills.
