Principal Business Support Officer
£13.03ph rising to £15.55ph after 12 weeks
This post is responsible for working in a department-level business support team and assisting business planning activities and wider operational duties. The post-holder will handle multiple sources of information and produce a range of information to ensure deadlines are met.
The post is responsible for ensuring new work requests are assessed, reports and information packs are produced and relevant quality standards are maintained. The post will operate with a significant degree of autonomy and will be able to prioritise their own work in order to meet organisational business objectives and key performance indicators.
1. Effective organisation skills, tenacious at managing deadlines.
2. Confident at building strong relationships with wider team, able to gain input from others and ensure business support function is not a bottleneck.
3. Able to follow and improve processes, confident manipulating and reading / interpreting data, showing attention to detail checking anomalies and addressing data inaccuracies.
4. Willing to support a team during a period of rapid transformation change, approachable and capable of acting as a go-to team member.
