Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Belfast to recruit a Private Client Tax Manager / Senior Manager for their expanding Tax team.

Working alongside a highly experienced and qualified tax team, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of private clients while contributing to the continued growth of the department.

The Role


As a Private Client Tax Manager / Senior Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of private clients, providing both compliance and advisory services. You will build strong client relationships, offer proactive tax planning solutions, and work closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a first-class service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of private clients and high-net-worth individuals
  • Overseeing personal tax compliance matters and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services tailored to clients' needs
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising on complex tax matters
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Collaborating with partners and colleagues across the wider business

Criteria


The successful candidate will possess:

  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA
  • Strong personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
  • Excellent technical knowledge of private client taxation
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
  • Strong IT and organisational skills
