Our client located in Thornton-Cleveleys is seeking a Process Assistant to work full-time Monday - Friday for 37.50 hours each week.
Monitor the General Ledger posting queues.
Post journals for clients.
Monitor and action any Service Requests on a daily basis.
Run daily error reports and raise any issues promptly.
Produce reconciliations for all clients in an approved format to set timescales.
Ensure plans are put in place to clear outstanding reconciling items within a 3 month timescale and if they cannot be cleared to escalate them.
To contribute to the compilation of the VAT returns in line with the Clients timetable.
Ensure all reports are run, all queries processed and any ad hoc journals completed.
Desirable skills required
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Good telephone manner.
Good Microsoft skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience of working in a Finance and / or Credit Control environment.
Experience of using Oracle systems.
Full training will be provided.

For a newcomer, the targets will be lower than for more established role holders, for whom a series of performance levels will have been determined; performance standards that are continually below a specified level will be the subject of remedial actions.
