Procurement Administrator

Job Description

Brook Street are seeking a Procurement Administrator on behalf of a government client in Filton.

You will be part of a dedicated team of procurement professionals, responsible for negotiating and managing a variety of business contracts and framework agreements.

You will work with the Contract Managers, suppliers and internal directorate customers to manage the contracting process end to end, to ensure that all interested parties needs are met.

You will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Managers to delivering contracts that are cost efficient and effective .

You will assist with audits so the client can demonstrate best value for money to the public.

You will ensure compliance to Procurement regulations.

Job requirements:

-Administration experience, with experience in logistics or procurement an advantage

-Experience of formal contracting

-Some understanding of legislation relating to goods and services

-Experience of working with Information Technology using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

-Experience of using IT systems to produce reports and correspondence which are timely, professional and accurate, including financial data

This assignment will commence on the 1/1/20 until 31/12/20. The pay is £10.83 rising to £12.38 after 12 weeks.
