Job title: Procurement Administrator
Contract: 6 - 8 weeks with possible extension
Hours: Monday to Friday - 0845 - 500 with 45 mins lunch
Pay: 10.92
Location: WFH - (initial training in office in Staffordshire, after that from home)
Job summary:
The Procurement Administrator (Purchase to Pay) will work as part of the team responsible for the delivery of best practice and achieving value for money in a Procurement environment.
Main duties:
- Assist in the maintenance and registrations of users, delivery addresses etc (i.e., Adding and Removing roles with Parabilis as requested)
- Closing old Suppliers as requested
- Update all Buyers Note fields following review of Contract for Service values
- Record keeping
- Ensure compliance with the University's policy and procedures, accounting standards and the Office for Students financial memorandum/circulars for procurement of goods and services.
- Ensure effective and positive relationships with suppliers and maintain good communications with suppliers and internal customers
What we are looking for:
- IT literate
- Good attention to detail and ideally from a finance background
- There will be a lot of Data entry in this role.
