We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator on a temp to perm basis.
You will be ensuring that client needs are anticipated and met, both internally and by suppliers. You will also have participation in the formal tendering process by providing administrative, client service and contract management support.
Your key responsibilities will include supporting Procurement Managers, enabling the delivery of a professional management service, ensuring that internal and external client needs are met and providing administration, client service and contract management support. You will also be responsible for the formal tendering of specific commodity areas, establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with clients and suppliers and collate, input and analyse purchasing data.
Please be aware that due to where our offices are based, you will need to be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
If you are our ideal candidate, you will have had recent exposure to working within a customer service environment in a supply chain/purchasing/procurement setting. You will also be able demonstrate knowledge of meeting targets. If you have an understanding of the supply chain process, this would be advantageous and some knowledge of food service suppliers would be helpful. We require someone with a strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables/VLookups) and with an analytical and customer focused mind set.
