Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Ballyclare to recruit a new full time and permanent Procurement Coordinator

Duties

Carry out procurement of parts and materials
Negotiate best value for inbound pricing
Update product costing lists
Stock management
Identification of aged stock issues
Production of regular reports
Create and maintain a portfolio of supplier contacts
Liaise with carriers to manage transport arrangements for purchases
Analyse pricing structures with senior management
Other adhoc duties


Criteria

Experience of working within a purchasing - buying role
Strong negotiator with an assertive approach to dealing with suppliers
Be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiative
Strong knowledge of MS Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
Possess a full, valid driving licence

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm.

Salary will depend on experience
