Would you like to work in Procurement within one of the biggest and best public sector organisations in Northern Ireland?

Brook Street (UK) Ltd is working on behalf of our client, Education Authority Northern Ireland, to secure an Assistant Category Officer for their Procurement department.

Working with an experienced team and operating within Education Authority Northern Ireland`s Procurement department, the Assistant Category Officer will participate in the procurement life-cycle from tender initiation to contract management.

Duties will include advising internal customers on procurement issues, tracking and monitoring procurement processes to ensure work is progressing, reviewing administrative systems, collating and analysing Management Information, and working on tender evaluations, tender awards, and contract management.

The successful candidate will be based in Belfast working 36 hours per week between 0900 and 1700, Monday to Friday; the holiday entitlement is 34 days per annum, and the rate of pay is £10.89 per hour.
