Product Development Executive - Luxury Fragrance Brand - South London

Role: Full Time

Salary: £30,000 +

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Product Development Executive to play a pivotal role in our New Product Development team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing crucial support by creating accurate parts and bills of materials, and sourcing components when necessary. Additionally, you will take a lead role in ensuring that all product artwork aligns with market compliance standards. A key aspect of this role involves managing and updating artwork files to maintain accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Parts and Bills of Materials Management:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather product specifications and requirements.
  • Efficiently generate comprehensive parts and bills of materials for new products.
  • Source components as needed, ensuring the availability of required materials for product development.

Artwork Compliance:

  • Take the lead in reviewing and approving product artwork in collaboration with design and marketing teams.
  • Ensure that all artwork meets regulatory requirements and complies with market standards.

Artwork File Management:

  • Maintain a systematic and up-to-date repository of all artwork files associated with new and existing products.
  • Regularly review and update artwork files to reflect the latest product compliance changes.

Documentation Oversight:

  • Manage and organize documentation related to parts, bills of materials, and artwork compliance.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and information flow between different teams involved in the product development process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between various departments, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Proactively address any issues related to parts, bills of materials, or artwork compliance that may arise during the development process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product development with a focus on creating parts and bills of materials.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for product artwork.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive approach to maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
