Contract Product Engineer wanted for a reputable international hair and beauty brand.

I am looking for a product operative/engineer to join this award winning innovative retailer to support the design team with CAD design,model and palstics expertise. This company supply to 75 countries they are a well known and growing brand in the beauty community
This vacancy is a project/contract based role and will be on a part time basis paid on a daily rate

Main focus and duties are:
- Supporting design and NPD through expert knowledge of DFA and DFMEA in plastic moulding
- Expert material knowledge in plastics
- Produce product and part manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Management of T sampling and support Quality Control through manufacturing liaison, design revisions and data library
- Liaising with manufacturing teams who are based abroad and design teams


Must have knowledge/previous experience:
-CAD
-DFMEA
-DFA

Desirable but not essential:
-Worked in consumer goods or similar industry

Salary negotiable on a daily rate around 3 days per week
