Job Description

Based in Trafford Park, this is a great opportunity for a product engineer to join the company in which is an exciting new product. You should be educated to degree level in a technical discipline (Chemistry, Physics Engineering or Material Science) This role has been created to assist in sales efforts in bringing to market a new product.

You will be tasked with managing customer evaluation projects. You must be able to manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all project goals are met in line with each party's expectations. This will require proactive engagement with customers in order to drive the technical evaluation forward to a successful outcome. It is essential that you have a high degree of technical confidence.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing technical collaborations with prospective customers
Proactively drive the progression of projects to a successful conclusion
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone and present the product
Identify new business opportunities through technical conversations online or in person
Understand the needs of the customer and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Prioritise - manage multiple work streams in the correct order of priority
Manage internal stakeholders in accordance with project demands
Build strong relationships through a robust technical and product development KAM strategy
Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
This is a global role and international travel will occur on a regular basis - around 50% of your time

Skills and Experience Required:
A professional and energetic approach with the ability to take technical problems and align then to products. Good communication skills and able to present to customers. Confident in technical situations and previous technical work history.
