Our client in Leicester city centre is looking for an experienced Production Assistant/Product Developer within the fashion and clothing industry. They have been established for twenty years and are a truly unique printing company that pride themselves on innovation and creativity. They provide an excellent service to customers worldwide working with global brands to suit all ages.

Responsibilities:
To co-ordinate with Design, Licensing & Production teams within Fashion UK.
To place new development requests with factories overseas
To follow up factory critical path and spread sheets to ensure dates are met.
To help increase business with market research - identify best sellers, trends etc.
To compile costings & help with raising purchase orders.
To help organise & attend meetings.
To become part of an internal hub & have fun

The ideal candidate would need to be the following:-
" 3yrs+ of merchandising/production experience is essential.
" Possess a good knowledge on fabrics, printing, garmenting.
" Good communication skills - verbal & written
" Experienced in dealing with factories overseas.
" IT skills - MS office especially MS Excel, PLM (training will be provided), Illustrator (preferred)
" Ability to deal with multiple data & a good eye for detail.
" Knowledge of licensing industry (preferable)
" Ability to measure samples/help QA (preferably)
