£30,000 per annum + fantastic benefits to include free parking, 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Immediate requirement

This busy manufacturer are looking to recruit a Production Engineer to join their team.

The suitable candidate will be trained and qualified in electrical engineering but ideally with mechanical/steam experience. You will also have experience in working within food processing or packing facilities (ideally BRC certified)

Your duties will include:-
- Respond to equipment downtime or engineering issues causing performance problems
- Carry out routine or condition-based maintenance
- Work with the production team to improve the throughput and productivity of a variety of manufacturing processes
- Liaise with engineering suppliers to ensure cost efficient solutions
- Represent the engineering function in Operational Management meetings
