My client are looking for a flexible production team leader to work in a food production environment in a growing business.

You will assist the production management team in ensuring that the production function runs smoothly, meeting relevant criteria for production quality, wastage levels and turnaround time.
You will liaising with Management regularly to understand daily/weekly production demands and pro-actively support the planning and preparation process as required.

You will be be taking responsibility for production line and reporting progress and concerns to Production Management as required, ensuring H&S processes and procedures are being adhered to on your line . You will have NO direct management responsibility.

You will be responsible for operating production line equipment and general machinery equipment, loading the line and ensuring your area is kept clean and tidy and any other adhoc duties as required.

You must have good understanding of English and previous experience in a production environment. The role can be physical so you must be physically fit

Hours of work initially 8am - 4pm Monday-Friday - New shift pattern may be introduced 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm so must be flexible

Salary £9 per hour + accrued holiday pay
