Production Manager
Willesden- Permanent with a 3-month Probation Period
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum based upon skills and experience with a salary review 6 months after your start date. You will be paid on an hourly basis, so you can also earn
overtime.

40 hours a week - 8:00am till 5:00pm with a 15-minute morning break, 30-minute lunch break and 15-minute afternoon break (food is paid for by the company)

My client based in Willesden, Northwest London is an expanding, third generation family business that was established in 1953 and who really look after their staff. With over 65,000 sq. ft of modern production and warehouse space, they specialise in manufacturing food grade packaging from green materials.

The role will require someone who is well versed in production management from a manufacturing industry. You will be managing a team of production workers and help implement a smooth running of day-to-day business. You will be familiar with Lean, Six Sigma, Kanban and other production streamlining processes to ensure that production efficiency, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing processes are implemented. You will need to liaise with our other factory plant in Surrey to ensure enough raw materials are in both factories. You will have the eye to maximize production in all areas also ensuring staffing levels are where they need to be, overseeing training holidays and disciplinaries.

You will be expected to be very flexible in terms of hours as a crucial period is the changeover between the day and afternoon shift and you should be able to stay a little longer to ensure a smooth transition.
In return if you are successful applicant you will receive a fantastic salary, annual Bonus is one week`s pay at the end of each year. 20 days holiday plus the 8 Bank Holidays. You will also receive the employer`s pension scheme of 3%.
