Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established global company at brand new production facility. With planned further investment and expansion of current manufacturing capabilities.

Role will oversee all Production staff on site, and identify / implement process improvements within the production areas, Operating 5 days per week Monday to Friday between 9:00 am - 5:00pm with overtime at weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities:
" Key member of the production leadership team.
" First line Supervision of production staff.
" Ensure compliance to environment, health and safety procedures within the department and drive improvements in these areas.
" Implementation of all new and existing operational policies and procedures.
" Provide timely management reports as required.
" Interact with all other departments as necessary to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
" Develop and implement training plans in order to deliver maximum efficiency.
" Deputise for the Operations Manager when required, along with current supervisory network.
" Ensure accurate stock control & reporting in line with Business needs.


Competencies, Experience and Key Skills:
" Previous supervisory experience within a production environment essential.
" Environment, Health and Safety qualification preferred.
" ERP (Sage) management knowledge preferred.
" Full UK driving license
" Excellent organisational & planning skills
" Experience in managing and motivating a team.
" Strong interpersonal skills and a confident communicator at all levels.
" A positive "can do" attitude and enthusiasm to succeed
" Flexibility regarding working hours
" Ability to write reports and analyse data.
" Problem solving skills.
" Strong knowledge of Word and Excel.
