Brook Street are working with our Belfast client to recruit Production Operators for a 6-month FTC

The Role Reporting to the Production Shift Manager, you will have responsibility for the manufacturing of products within a 24/7 production and manufacturing facility.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Work with Production Manager and Shift Manager to ensure shared responsibility for delivering all Key Production Indicators and targets
Carry out all tasks and duties in accordance with Health & Safety standards and ensure PPE are adhered to
Adhere to all Operating Procedures when operating machinery or FLT`s
Adhere to Quality requirements
Ensure all daily operational and housekeeping tasks are completed to a high standard and fully documented.

Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience within a manufacturing / production environment
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
An ability to work on own initiative but also to work collaboratively with others
Flexible and adaptable

Benefits:
36 - 42 hour week on average

The pay rates currently are £9.09 plus 12.5% shift allowance (£10.23) moving to £9.59 plus 25% shift allowance (£11.99) after 12 weeks.
Please note that the rates of pay will be reviewed in April in line with upcoming national pay increases.

Shift pattern is as follows

Week 1 - 6am - 6pm Monday - Thursday
Week 2 - 6pm - 6am Friday - Monday
Week 3 - 6am - 6pm Friday - Sunday
Week 4 - 6pm -6am Tuesday - Friday
