Job Description

We are now recruiting for Production Operatives to join a well established company in North Ferriby/Brough area, manufacturing/production experience would be desirable.

Please see further information below;

Working Hours are;

3 shift system Mon-Fri (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am). Therefore, you need to be comfortable working nights and days.

Salary; £8.75ph

Job Description Summary;

You will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and monitoring manufacturing process.

Key Accountabilities;

  • Production Duties will involve operating designated production equipment.
  • Select intermediates or raw materials, move and load it into production machines.
  • Understand bill of materials and/or formula specifications.
  • Manufacture product in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.
  • Accurately read control instruments, prepare neat & accurate records for all operations as required.
  • Responsible for completion of all quality test requirements to verify final product quality.
  • Ensure efficient, uninterrupted production and identify and facilitate process improvements, monitor equipment and report production information in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
  • Keep records for production, raw material deliveries, quality samples and equipment and process performance.
  • Prepare product packaging for next step in production or for final shipment to customer according to department specifications.
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance and cleanliness of various laboratory instruments.
  • Work in accordance with all relevant requirements and internal safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.
  • Ability to work inside and occasionally outside exposed to heat, cold, dirt, and noise.

Key requirements;

  • Experience working within production or manufacturing (desirable)
  • Good working attitude
  • This role is very physical and lot's of manual work
  • Happy to work nights or days
