Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Assembly Operative / Production Solderer who has experience and is reliable - to start immediately. £9.50 per hour.. Monday to Friday. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
As required:
" At request, all aspects of strain gauge bonding including surface preparation, position layout, gauge handling, clamping and curing.
" All aspects of soldering, wire and cable preparation and bridge balancing.
" The use of various coating materials and preparation of connector assemblies.
" A good knowledge of the production departmental processes and procedures and quality assurance procedures.
" Various assembly work which would include the attachment of printed circuit boards.
" To read and understand basic job instruction drawings.
" Basic zero calibration / test and the preparation of test result sheets and associated test data, which would include in-putting data onto our loadcell database system.
" To follow good practices in health and safety and house-keeping at all times.
" To aid continuity of production through timely material and consumable requisition.
" The role requires a reasonable level of fitness as lifting and handling heavy objects is required.
