A brilliant new role has just become available with our client, they are looking to appoint a Production Supervisor. The company is one of Scotland`s best-known independent farming company.
As a business this is a fantastic time to join them, they have recently been investing heavily into production and the demand for their products continues to grow.

The Job:
This is a hands-on job where you will lead and supervise a shift of operatives in order to achieve required efficiency and cost effectiveness, whilst adhering at all times to company procedures and customer requirements.
You will organise team workloads in order to achieve required targets, ensure smooth handover between shifts, ensure working hours are recorded accurately, set effective methods and operations to improve packing outputs, lead, train and motivate the packing teams, identify, problem-solve and communicate any issue potentially affecting output and ensure health and safety, quality procedures and specifications are strictly followed and accurate records are maintained, escalating and non-conformance.

Your experience
We are seeking a committed and positive individual with previous production or packing supervisory experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment. You will possess a positive `can-do` attitude, have excellent problem-solving skills and be well organised and results orientated.

Fluency in English, both verbal and written is essential together with good numerical ability.
Be flexible to work across a shift pattern

Salary £30,000, DOE
