Production Trainee 23k

My client are a market leading supplier of Mains Power Distribution Units and accessories (also known as Power Bars or Power Strips). Founded in 1961 my client manufactures all products at their 22,500 Square Feet Head Office in Stanmore and sell to customers both in the UK and abroad.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person and has the ability to lead to future promotion. Full training will be provided in all aspects of the manufacturing process with the ability to learn a wide range of new skills. This is a hands-on role and would ideally suit someone of a technical nature who is not afraid to ask lots of questions.
Tasks to include:
" General production duties including assembly, metal fabrication and powder coat spraying
" Warehouse, packing, dispatch and stock control
" Final Production Inspection and Test
" Setting up and maintaining production equipment
" Maintaining and updating the Manufacturing Stock System
" Assisting with Quality and Health & Safety
What we need from you:
" Factory or warehouse experience
" Experience in a similar manufacturing role an advantage
" Good PC Skills
" Good knowledge of MS Office particularly MS Excel
" Self-motivated
" Team player
" Good communication skills
" Live within daily commuting distance of Stanmore
