Job Description

Program Manager
Cambridge

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Program Manager. This is a contract role based in Cambridge until the 30th June 2020.

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training.

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus 5% end of contract bonus per annum depending on skills and experience

Program Manager Responsibilities:

  • Working with research and engineering steering committee to devise and deliver technical bootcamp and 12 month technical programme of learning
  • Ensuring smooth onboarding of residents and assignment of projects to residents
  • Organising regular technical stand-ups and 1:1 meetings
  • Providing technical guidance and preparing project progress reports for the business and co-ordination of mentors and supervisors (both within research and US-based product teams) to ensure consistency of experience for residents, in line with program goals
  • Managing distributed internal stakeholders across geographies, effectively communicating funding needs, project status and coordinating other activities

Program Manager Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a technical subject required; Masters/PhD preferred (including, but not limited to, computer science, engineering, machine learning or mathematics)
  • Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence technologies is a must
  • 3+ years of programme management experience required
  • A passion for learning and development
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
