Job Description

Partnerships Programme Manager


Our client based in Ipswich is currently looking for a Partnerships Programme Manager.


As a Partnerships Programme Manager, your role will be to support the head of housing and community services team which includes building relationships with key partners and developing a local programme of work in Ipswich which will deliver integrated models of care and service provision for local people.


To lead on the effective development and implementation of health and wellbeing strategies and plans to improve health outcomes reduce health inequalities in Ipswich.


The type of person that they are looking for is someone who will be dedicated to the position and flexible to work outside of working hours when required. You will have strong communication and management skills with a high-level computer accuracy. You will be able to think in a strategic manner and you will have experience in co-ordinating multi-disciplined teams, with a proven track record to work efficiently to deadlines set, meeting KPI's.


The position is being offered on an 18-month fixed term contract and it will be a full-time position as well. (37.5 hours a week).


Salary for the role is £35,745k per year.

To be considered for the role, as a minimum we are expecting you to hold the following competencies:


- Degree Level or the equivalent level of experience working in a health setting, with evidence of continuing professional development
- Project Management qualification is desirable
- Strong negotiation skills
- The ability to correspond effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of local health and care systems in the area (Suffolk)
- Understanding of health and well-being policies
- Experience of working in community development
- Budget management experience
