Programme Administrator

Job Description

Our prestigious Higher Education provider is looking to appoint a temporary programme administrator

Initially for 3 months but with an extension to 6 months very possible.

The successful candidate will undertake administrative tasks such as student record keeping, completing forms, communicating with the team and senior academics.

Other duties include but are not limited to;

-Enrolment
-Attendance monitoring
-Module selection
-Coursework submission
-General enquiry handling

-Maintain accurate student records including SITS
-Attend and support the Student Academic Board and other formal / informal meetings as required; Duties may include preparation of papers, taking minutes, recording and following up action points

Desirable

-Degree level education
-Previous experience within a Higher Education setting
-Previous working knowledge of SITS

Whilst the above is desirable, the ideal candidate will be a senior administrator with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The Post holder will require acute attention to detail, able to think independently but also able to comfortably work as part of a team
