Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Band 3 Programme Support Assistant, to become part of the NHS and join a team whose main purpose, is to educate and train the health workforce.

Temporary - 6 month assignment, working remotely!

Hours: Monday to Friday (08.30 - 16.30) or (09:00 - 17:00) - with a 30 minute lunch

£9.09 per hour

Basic DBS is required but Brook Street will take you through the process.


Duties:

" Managing queries coming into shared inboxes and responding promptly and effectively
" Supporting the Annual Review Competency Progression (ARCP) Panel process for GP specialty trainees (booking virtual panels, reviewing panel member availability, circulating documentation to panel members in advance of assessments, as required, processing assessment documentation and sending appropriate documentation to trainees and Royal Colleges)
" Inputting of programme and trainee rotation information on to internal databases and the trainee e-portfolio
" Handling incoming telephone enquiries and re-directing calls when relevant
" Providing administrative support to GP Educator and Trainer courses and events as required
" Undertaking a range of administrative and clerical duties, including the maintenance of electronic systems. This will involve the handling of confidential and sensitive information and the post holder will therefore be relied upon to observe and comply with specific and implied confidentiality rules and policies
" Maintaining accurate records in relation to all GP database systems such as the Trainee Information System (TIS) and Sharepoint
