Health Education England - Programme Support Assistant

Location: Leeds City Centre

Hours: Monday- Friday 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £9.09 rising to £10.09 after 12 weeks

Programme Support Assistant required for Health Education England

Role Overview:

The Programme Support Assistant is responsible for the provision of administrative and project support services for Programme Support / Speciality Schools within HEE.

Programme Support teams are responsible for the coordination of post graduate education and training across Yorkshire and the Humber.

The post holder will have variety of administrative responsibilities within the Programme Support Team.

Key areas include

  • * ensuring that agendas and documentation for meetings and events are available by required deadlines
  • * general office duties to support the business
  • * assist with ARCPs
  • * data entry and monitoring of quality of data
  • * first point of contact for the Programme Support team (electronically & Verbally)

Most important things the candidate needs to have:

  • Excellent communication skills (Electronically and verbally)
  • Excellent IT skills and microsfot packages experience
  • Able to work effectively in a team
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Good time keeping
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good planning and organisational skills

Qulaifications and experience:

  • NVQ or equivalent in Business Administration
  • Experienc eof working in an administrative/clerical or secretarial role
  • Diary management experience
