Job Description

We are working in partnership with a Health Care provider who are looking for a Programme Support Officer
Job role: Programme Support Officer
Working days: Full time Mon-Fri No weekends/BankHolidays 37.5hrs pw
Working hours: 9am-5pm or other to be agreed
Location: Hybrid - WFH/ 360 Bristol office
Duration: 6 months
No requirements for specific systems, but essential to be competent with Word, Excel, Outlook. Prior experience of Verto (project reporting tool) would be useful but not essential.


Provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support to a range of projects (work-streams) within the overall agreed Programme for Corporate and Service Development.
Create project plan resources including the preparation, updating and monitoring of all project documentation - Risk Register, Issues Log, Workstream report and Project Closure documentation
Maintaining project team task and action logs helping to ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with the project timescales and project plan
Arranging and supporting project meetings to ensure the project teams are focused on the project objectives, timescales and deliverable - preparing Agendas, relevant papers for project meetings and taking minutes/actions Monitoring project risks and issues and where these are not resolved, reporting these to the relevant Project Manager using standard PMO project documentation.
Liaising with the project lead and the Communications Manager to ensure good communication strategies are in place to inform all stakeholders about the project.
Providing administrative and technical support to all members of the Transformation Directorate as appropriate and provide training in the systems and processes used by the Programme and Project Teams to colleagues in operational and corporate services.
