Are you an expert in Solidworks?

I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Design Engineer to join a market leading Manufacturer, who value and reward their employees to a great extent.

My client holds a global presence by designing and distributing high quality products to their prestigious customers around the world.

As a Project Design Engineer your role will be of great importance as you will hold a leadership position in the design and management of engineered projects.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Own and deliver projects start to finish
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Develop and sign off designs and drawings
- Communicate at a high professional level with customers both internally and externally
- Assist in ascertaining commercial and financial viability of projects and products
- Liaise with procurement on technical product requirements and specifications

With a strong work ethic you will take ownership of your role with the ability to run new development projects. You will be a team player by having a hands-on approach to meet deadlines ensuring despatch dates are met at all times.

The successful candidate will be self motivated, highly organised and possess excellent Microsoft Office skills and communication, both written and verbal. You will have proven Engineering skills and experience with the understanding of hydraulics and compressed air, along with CAD, ideally Solidworks.

Salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience

Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus Bank Holidays which increases with length of service

Benefits include free car park, pension scheme, profit related bonus and more.

Hours of work 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Fridays
