Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: UK-Surrey-Croydon

Overview:
Role Purpose
Organisational Management is responsible for steering the business change project portfolio and driving the harmonization of global IT projects across all lines of business of Allianz Partners. They act as the main interface between the Business Unit and Allianz Technology locally and globally. They also collaborate with the Global Organisational Management team to support the standardization and harmonization of processes and products at local level, and facilitate the roll-out of group solutions.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
" Align with Central Organisational Management to drive the harmonization of processes and products supporting the migration to target platforms across the Group, engineering new processes to support business change projects
" Work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to understand and elicit business change needs, documenting and mapping end to end processes and presenting finalised requirements to the Business for sign off.
" Participate in pre-contract business requirement meetings and complete project initiation documentation, supporting the Sales Team with tender responses and conducting appropriate gap analyses
" Facilitate stakeholder workshops to elicit and draft requirements documents to support the business case
" Engage with project stakeholders, plan, execute and ensure effective governance of projects
" Manage projects from initiation through to closure including planning and tracking, regular reporting and communication, documenting risks, issues and decisions
" Review specifications, prepare test cases, coordinate UAT, create and execute UAT test plans, end to end functional tests, record test results and track defects
" Ensure project management standards and processes are maintained through the project life cycle, and delivered on time, on budget, with the agreed level of quality

Hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
A flexible approach will be required at times in order to meet deadlines

" Help to ensure that projects deliver what the business needs, ensuring that the requirements are clearly communicated, that the impact of project change is assessed and that the user acceptance tests are aligned with business needs
" Share knowledge proactively and contribute to the continuous development of analytical practices and techniques
" Proactively collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information and functional requirements and deliver appropriate artefacts in a timely fashion
" Ensure the quality of outputs, deliverables and artefacts meet the expectations of Allianz Partners UK

Qualifications:
Evidence of experience within the following essential areas:

EDUCATION/ TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
" Education to a Degree or Diploma Level in a relevant subject area or discipline
" Working knowledge of industry recognised Project Management qualification
SPECIALIST SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE
" Demonstrable Workshop Facilitation skills
" Comfortable with working with senior members of staff, up to Exec Board level
" Strong interpersonal skills, able to foster relationships with peers and other functions
" Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
" Strong elicitation techniques for business requirements development and analysis
" Numerate and analytical
" Task management to comply with deadlines
" Excellent written and spoken communication, Fluent in English
