Brook Street are currently recruiting for a temporary project manager position.
The project manager will contribute to the success of this project by coordinating and providing support to the team, ensuring that tasks are completed as appropriate. The project manager will also ensure the project delivery team`s work is properly coordinated and interfaced with the appropriate business policies, processes and procedures and, where required, is aligned with industry standards and best practice.
Although not exhaustive, other roles and responsibilities will include:
" Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
" Facilitate communications between NHS Professionals, NHS England and pilot sites
" Promote awareness and understanding of appropriate projects milestones/deliverables to stakeholders
" Develop documents, spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps relating to the project
" Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
" Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
" Report and escalate to management as needed
" Follow the right governance and approval routes as necessary
" Demonstrable track record of successful project delivery
" Proven working experience in project management
" Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
" Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
" Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
The post is 4 days a week across both pilot sites. This interim position is for 9 months and may extend. This role could be an opportunity for someone who is perhaps in band 5 looking to move up or someone in a project support role but looking into a project management role/title for career progression/experience.
