Merseyside based
Starting from Monday 4th January 2021
Fixed term contract until 31/03/2022

Essential information
Working hours : Monday to Friday 9-5
Please note the role may include occasional weekend and evening working, to support the business and technical implementation of new services in to production. The role includes paid overtime

Salary: £37,914

Location: At the moment it is at home based with occasional office work required, due to this you must be within the Merseyside area to be able to commute easily to and from the offices if and when needed

Are you a qualified project manager looking to take the leap into a new and busy role in the new year?
This role is looking for a project manager who can successfully see the bigger picture, is able to liaise with multiple stakeholders and team members to maintain focus and drive whilst managing an ever-changing work load and being able to improve and resolve any hurdles along the way.


As a member of the Digital, Data and Technology function the post-holder will work closely with colleagues and senior reporting officers and project Boards, to take accountability & primary responsibility for the successful delivery of project outcomes encompassing time, costs, scope and quality, utilising appropriate agile or waterfall methods.


You must be able to deliver at a pace whilst leading projects from ideation through to completion whilst managing resources, deliverables, risks and dependencies ensuring capacity and skills for successful project delivery whilst managing several moving project parts simultaneously.


Essential Criteria

Qualified Waterfall Project Manager (Prince2 or equivalent)

Qualified Agile Project Manager (or equivalent

Experience in working collaboratively within the multi-skilled IS function ensuring inclusion and conflict resolution during the inception, delivery and post-delivery cycle to ensure projects meets the SRO's product vision as well as design requirements, passes service reviews, acceptance criteria and are deployed or implemented without issue.

Problem Solving & effective and quick Decision Maker

Experience of Managing the project budget to ensure delivery, including any budget relating to external suppliers

Experience in Preparing Project forecasts, Reports including Burndown/up and tracks & manages actual project spend

Able to ensure delivery momentum by solving issues and unblocking problems.

Drives teams and sets the pace, ensuring teams are working towards delivery commitments.

Able to engage in elements of risk management such as effectively managing and tracking the mitigation of risks.

Experience in ensuring delivery momentum by solving issues and unblocking problems
