Our client , working in the health sector and based in Basildon is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work within their Project Management Team.

This is a high profile opportunity where you will need PM experience as you will be managing the end to end process of a variety of projects from Software Development through to Marketing and Consultancy.

We would love it if you came from a Healthcare Project Management background or similar specifically involving CRM data flows and service delivery, software development, data analytics, research, (NHS) Commissioning Excellence and Pharma Business Intelligence. Any previous experience in these and/or similar areas would be beneficial.

This is a truly autonomous PM role with complete ownership of small to medium sized internal and external projects across the breadth of the portfolio of products and services.

If you are the type of character who is comfortable challenging requirements, considering and mitigating project risks and who can manage often demanding stakeholders, then this could well give you the challenge you are seeking. A Prince II or similar qualification would be helpful.
You will be joining a fairly new team so it would be amazing if you could bring with you experience of managing Software Development, or digital IT projects.

We are looking for forward thinkers who are keen to help develop the processes they have in place already and who can work with their peer group to promote the exchange of ideas and initiatives in order to improve the way they work.

It`s a busy role so you`ll need to be someone who can adapt to change and who is passionate about doing a good job whilst sometimes working under pressure. While projects are typically managed remotely from a single location, there will be the need from time to time to travel across sites (Basildon, London, Nottingham) and client/supplier sites as/when required by project.

The need for strong influencing skills goes without saying but you also need to be a Project Management ambassador, promoting the function internally as often as you can so that the company can grow and develop their offerings meaning unlimited opportunity for you and the rest of the team to progress and take on even more diverse and varied projects.
