A well know logistics and freight forwarding company based in Aberdeen is looking for an experienced Project Specialist within the Industrial sector to join there fast paced and friendly team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills, be confident using Microsoft office ( especially excel) Knowledge of international air/sea/road Freight Forwarding/ Industrial Projects, experience in UK customs form and fluency in French and/or other European languages an advantage.

Daily duties will include -

• Receiving and checking purchase order details from customer
• Providing exceptional customer service as expected from a Global Freight Forwarder
• Liaison / expediting with suppliers regarding goods readiness dates/terms of sale
• Arranging collections and deliveries
• Arrange packing of cargo as required
• Requesting/receiving/checking export documents from suppliers
• Consolidation of cargo for export by all transport Modes
• Booking space with carriers
• Completing export / import documentation
• Maintaining/updating in house & external bespoke IT track and trace systems
