Job Description

Brook Street are seeking a Project Support Officer to work with the Environment Agency.

Working for the Environment Agency gives you the daily opportunity to help save lives, protect homes and businesses and create a better place for people and wildlife.

Examples of duties include:

" Create and manage important project documents, such as project highlight reports, risk registers, and communications & engagement materials such as briefings, letters, and newsletters.
" Manage the team`s mailbox
" Manage databases, contact lists and records
" Organise and arrange events and meetings - including working with teams on suitability, booking venues, creating and printing materials
" Take minutes at internal and external meetings

The Team:

The National Programmes Team (NPT) is a diverse and dispersed team, delivering a wide range of programmes and projects across the Environment Agency and Defra. It is responsible for delivering the majority of our important projects, many of which are seeking to better protect people and properties from the effects of flooding. We also support project delivery across other business areas, including sustainability, biodiversity, navigation, data management and finance. As a Project Support Officer, you will work alongside 20 colleagues within a supportive environment to a clear sense of purpose.

This is a temporary role currently ongoing until 27/03/20, 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday shifts and this pays £11.85ph.
